Planning: Lighting

In my video I will be using both natural and artificial light. However I will also be editing the light in Photoshop and Premier Pro as well as other programmes.

Natural light: When I'm outside ill be using natural light as I don't have the lighting technology to be able to get the exact lighting I want to have using technology. I will be filming at the Tower of London and in a field as well as my street so I wouldn't have any control of what the lighting was  only that if its a dark night with lots of mist then I would have to wait till another day on where its lighter and more of an 'upbeat' lighting. However at the basics as an idea I could hold up a lamp or a torch under or above the object I wish to highlight so it would add some sort of light around it.

Artificial lighting: When filming inside I would be using artificial lighting especially when I film in the theatre. When filming inside I would be able to control whether the room is dark or light by turning the light on or off or opening or closing the curtains. However when filming inside I wouldn't have complete and full control over what the exact lighting is so I may have to budge on what the exact desired lighting is. As for filming in the theatre there is a massive amount of lighting technology in it so I would be able to pick the amount of light there is and even what colour the light is such as green or red. However in my video it likely ill  be only enhancing the natural light, not changing the colour. However in one shot outside there would be lighting within the shot so my prop would control what the lighting looked like.

Editing: Like in the picture above this is what I want however I may be able to edit my footage so I have the tree and lights in colour and the background pitch black or have the background distorted and the foreground in colour to show the importance of the tree and lights. I would also be able to  edit the footage so it is in black and white, this would have a vintage romantic olden feel to it.
