In my music video there would be one costume change. This would mean the costume choice would easier than having many different changes as I would have to ensure that each costume matches the theme and feel of the song.
The Female Character- Field in Winter
I would have the female wearing a winter coat as it would be likely it would be cold due to the fact it would be cold outside. Also because they are walking around in a open space its unlikely they would have gone out in a just a jumper. Also it has a hood in case it rains or snows which shows the practicality of the coat.
I would have the girl wear a thick jumper as it would be cold outside so they would need to be warm as there wouldn't really be any way of getting warm while outside.
I would have her wear a scarf as it would be cold and they would need to keep warm. Also scarfs are seen as quite fashionable so it would suit the character.
I would have her wear leggings as they are going for a walk and she wouldn't want to get her best jeans dirty. They would also be climbing over gates and walking in mud so what the girl wears would need to be practical and mean she can move freely.
I would have her wear these as they are fashionable and easy to walk in and would work well with what she is wearing.
However when I go down to film it may have snowed or rained or could be raining. This would mean converse wouldn't suitable so she would need to wear these to ensure the trainers don't get ruined, as there is a brook where I am filming it means she could get in the water and walk in it.
The Male Character- Field in Winter
I would have the male character wear a hoodie as this would be fashionable and it is more likely that the male would be able to cope with the cold and therefore not need a coat. He would be more likely to wear a simple hoodie.
I would have him wear a simple pair of jeans so if they got dirty it wouldn't be too big of a deal. Also Again they would be fashionable as well as laid back and simple. I think if the male wore joggers then I believe it would give the wrong feel to the video, wearing jeans can be both casual and formal therefore he would look better wearing the jeans.
I would have him wear trainers again not to nice in case they got dirty if its been raining. Also it is unlikely would go in the water so they wouldn't need wellies unlike the girl. The male would need to wear comfy trainer's to ensure they could walk in them and be flexible.
Female character- Field in Summer
As it would be warm I would have her wear this due to the fact it would fit with the summer feel. By having a white top instead of something like grey or black makes it look more summery. As it is a casual video this top would fit very well with the theme.
She would wear causal simple pair of jeans I wouldn't have her wear grey or black jeans as I don't think it will work as well as it would if it was a blue or light blue pair of jeans.
She would wear a pair of causal shoes depending on the weather she may wear sandals instead but if it isn't too warm she would wear these as there easy to move in and wouldn't rub if they went on a walk.
This may be needed depending on the weather, she may not need to wear one. But wearing a leather jacket means she will be warm while out side if she wasn't able to go inside while she was out.
Male Character- Field in Summer
His outfit would be very similar to what it would be in Winter other than the fact he may wear a t shirt instead of a hoodie but it would depend on the weather.
All these costumes either both characters have or could easily get hold of. Such as the trainers both the character own these. For instance the female character doesn't own a pair of wellington boots so this would be cheap and easy to solve.
