This was created after listening to Tristan Prettyman's album Cedar + Gold. I listened to the album and created a mood board on 'Moodshare' which has a range of images which I'd associate with the Cedar + Gold. In using Moodshare it was a new device I'd never used before but helped create and display the moods and themes for the album.
You were given a blank canvas where you can place images, text, sound and videos on to. I could search the web and find pictures, videos etc to save and import them to Moodshare where they were sorted in the lightbox at the bottom of the page. When they were in the lightbox, all that was needed to do was drag the materials onto the canvas and on there I could move and resize them. I could also add images/sound/videos/text etc to my lightbox by clicking on the magnifying glass icon in the top left corner of the page, which is where I could search anything which I wanted and then add them to the mood board as well. As well as adding pictures to my mood board, I also added text as well.
When listening to Cedar + Gold I picked up a beach, summer type feel. I put upbeat light hearted pictures to back up the feel to the album. It also had a lot of references to love and romance. The song called 'I was gonna marry you' has the lyrics 'But the ring around my finger proved' when I heard these lyrics I pictured a ring in a box to symbolise marriage. Another lyric from 'Deepest Ocean Blue' theres lyrics which says 'From the stars up in the sky' this is why I put a picture of a sky at night with all the stars out as when I heard this lyric it remind me of a dark sky at night, with all the stars out at night.
