For the challenge we were given clip of someone singing 'Rolling in the deep', also the music video and the track of Adele singing the song. We had to remove the green screen and fit the music video so it looks like the girl is singing the song in the video.
First I had to drag the clip on to the timeline, and get on to the right hand box. The I had to add the effect called '16 point garbage matte'.
Then I had to drag the points in so it fitted around the girl.
I then added 'Ultra key' to get rid of the rest of the green screen.
I could then add it to the video so it looked like this.
It now looks like the girl is in the video.
This in a new technique I have now learnt and can now use in my video in a range of different ways. It is also very simple to do and looks really good and effective. In doing this task it has made me realise how important the filming of footage is as when it came to editing the song didn't match the girls lip singing. Now I know how important the filming is, and to get it right as the green screen is creased so in the video you can see the creases so it doesn't look as effective as it should. That is another thing iv learnt which is to make sure that the green screen hasn't got any creases in as it doesn't look realistic or believable.
